I wanted to alert all of you to an excellent resource from the IOM that I have just learned about. It came out in 2009 and is entitled "Caring for Trafficked Persons: Guidance for Health Providers." My colleague at the FSU Center for the Advancement of Human Rights, Robin Thompson, does periodic training for physicians and other health care providers as part of the required CME they need on domestic violence and she integrates trafficking awareness and training into that. This book will now be a great resource for these training programs! Downloadable free. http://publications.iom.int/bookstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=47&products_id=510
