FSU Center for Human Rights Strategic Plan

What can be done to prevent the trafficking of human beings? How do we make sure they are receiving proper care once they are identified? These questions and others drove the Florida Legislature to commission the Center for the Advancement of Human Rights at Florida State University (where I currently work) to produce a Florida Statewide Strategic Plan on Human Trafficking. We then undertook a two year study of human trafficking in Florida. The resulting work product draws on the experiences of countless law enforcement officials, service providers, and state agency workers. Please check out the plan and provide comments here.
