We talk a good bit about taskforces in our CAHR report/strategic plan on human trafficking. Do you know of a task force in your area? If so, what would inspire you to join? Human rights minded individuals in the Tallahassee area have been working on such a task force for years. Here is our mission statement:
The Mission of NFACT is to raise awareness in the greater North Florida area regarding human trafficking and to help build the capacity among service providers, law enforcement, agencies and others in the community so that they can better assist enslaved and trafficked persons.
If you don't have a taskforce in your area and you would be interested, please contact us at the Center for the Advancement of Human Rights. We'd love to help you get started.
